I love this product as a low carb girl, I love the chicken sliders. I just don't understand why they stop selling them single. I can only eat chicken sliders. Since my digestive system can't digest red meat. Please, is someone from this company. Sees this review. Please bring back chicken sliders to be bought. Individually, I want to buy 5 or 10 bags and I can't because the bundle that you have the sliders in. I can't eat the other 2. Please let me know how I can just order the chicken sliders.

I put these to a real test during an Alaska moose hunt, where they were one of my main sources of calories throughout the hunt. From a nutrition and backcountry-food standpoint, they absolutely did their job. They’re extremely calorie dense, easy to pack, and gave me the fuel I needed without taking up much space or weight.

That said, these things were rough to eat.

The texture was easily my biggest complaint. It genuinely felt like I was eating a bar of straight fat. After several days of relying on them for calories, eating another one became something I had to force myself to do rather than something I actually wanted to eat.

I also brought several flavors, and I honestly couldn’t tell you what the differences were supposed to be. They all tasted and felt very similar to me.

I understand that something this calorie dense isn’t supposed to be a candy bar, and I’ll give them credit: they absolutely met my caloric needs during a demanding hunt. But considering how unpleasant I found the texture and how expensive they are, I don’t see myself ordering them again.

Excellent calorie-to-weight ratio and very functional backcountry food. I just wish eating one didn’t feel like a chore.
